Q: What is the La Verne Annual Fund?
A: The La Verne Annual Fund recognizes all annual expendable gifts for both unrestricted and restricted current-use purposes to the University of La Verne.
Q: What programs does the La Verne Annual Fund support?
A: The La Verne Annual Fund supports programs across the entire university. From academics to athletics, scholarships to site maintenance, the Annual Fund helps provide resources for everyday running of the university, and most importantly, scholarship and grant money to deserving students.
Q: I used to give to the Leo Family Fund. How do I support ULV in the same way now?
A: If you designate your gift to the University's Greatest Need - Scholarship Fund, it will go exactly where it went before.
Q: Is my gift tax deductible?
A: Most gifts are tax-deductible, but you should always check with your tax advisor. Some donor courtesies are not tax-deductible, and you will be notified of the fair market value upon receipt of the courtesy.
Q: How many gift designations can I make?
A: You can make as many designations to different areas as you would like. For a list of areas where you can direct your giving, click here.
Q: Is there a minimum gift amount?
A: There is no minimum gift amount - every gift makes a difference.
Q: Is there a minimum pledge amount?
A: There is no minimum pledge amount. However, we cannot currently take pledges through our online system. If you would like to set up a pledge with us, please contact Debra Calderon Morales at 909-593-3511 ext. 4690
Q: If I am married, will courtesies extend to my spouse or partner?
A: Yes, we extend 'credit' to both members of a couple when a gift is made.
Q: What calendar does La Verne use for gift recognition?
A: Our calendar of giving is based on the University's fiscal year, which is July 1 to June 30.

Q: What are President's Associates?
A: Members of President's Associates are loyal donors who contribute $2,500 or more annually through the La Verne Annual Fund
Q: What is President's Council?
A: President's Council members support the La Verne Annual Fund each year with gifts of $5,000 to $9,999.
Q: What is President's Cabinet?
A: University of La Verne relies on significant annual giving, like that of our President's Cabinet members, who generously give $10,000 to $24,999.
Q: What is the President's Senior Cabinet?
A: As significant leaders through annual giving, President's Senior Cabinet members contribute $25,000-$49,999.
Q: What is the President's Executive Cabinet?
A: President's Executive Cabinet members exemplify leadership giving at its finest. Members of this group contribute $50,000 or more annually through the La Verne Annual Fund.
